Conscious Focus and Practice: your tools to happiness and success
How coaching works
Coaching is an art. Its roots lie in the ancient technique of questioning (Socratic Method), of placing the individual before a mirror of himself, to become conscious of how he behaves.
Through conversation, the coach creates the framework and environment that will urge the client to move forward, to discover what motivates and empowers him and use these to achieve his goals.
Listening is the key requirement that facilitates learning and shows a genuine interest in the person being coached.
Both, questioning and listening are used to remove mental barriers (self-doubt, negative or limiting beliefs, inner conflicts and unhelpful habits) that will allow the individual to reach his true potential.
The coach will make sure the client is held accountable and takes responsibility for his life by focusing and practicing on conscious acting. If the client has not done what he has set out to do, the coach will challenge him and bring him back to focus.
